I remember that time at the Dengkou train station, heading to Baotou. I surged onto the train with a crowd of strangers, not knowing where the future would lead. Thinking back now, how did I manage to hold my head high and cross half the globe, arriving penniless and alone to fulfill a dream of "homecoming"?
